Shoot vertical subjects in portrait mode

Are you good at remembering to take pictures in portrait mode? Make it a rule of thumb to shoot natural vertical subjects (such as people!) in portrait mode instead of landscape mode, unless you have specific reasons for composing a scene to include other subjects as well.
